Mee rebus

3 Ee's mee rebus - the BEST MEE REBUS IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

This is Jason on his second, massive, bowl.  It's the kind of noodles you can only really eat one bowl, because it's rich and there's a lot of fried stuff going on, but we mostly all had two bowls.

This was the result - bellies at full capacity and a lot of groaning.  But NO REGRET.

There was this sambal to go with it, it was soooo good.

Sambal-crazy Pim managed to eat several large spoonfuls in her noodles, but even she couldn't finish the bounty.  Thank you 3 Ee!!!

The continuing adventures of Ninosauce

30 kilos of tomatoes becomes...

A really large amount of sauce (this isn't all of it - there were extra bowls), which become...

35 pints of sauce, plus a few extra that had to go in the freezer because we ran out of mason jars, which become...

La moulignane!  Miam!!

For last year's sauce pictures, see 'Passata Pasta Pesto Pastiera'.

Nino-lit.

Francesca left on Sunday morning, so a little less sunshine in Melbourne.

Sabrina left on Thursday, so even less!!  Merci a vous deux pour les belles memoires et des rires aussi :)  C'est tellement vide sans vous.

This is Stella, the new cat of Paul and Francesca (not maman Francesca, another one) downstairs.  She is albino, deaf, 18 months old, an explorer and a very slight comfort in Francesca and Sabrina's absence, since she is allowed to come visit if she feels like it.

CNY - year of the Tiger

Some random CNY photos.

This was only half the food.

Was it enough?

... need... more... rice... to soak up... fats...

Melanie is not pregnant, she has just eaten too much chicken curry and chap chai.

Mmm... jiaozi.

Also delicious, Bendy Brunetti.

See the yee sang in action after the jump...
