Annick 37 weeks, Luca 32 months

Oops - three weeks passed already!  And so much going on.

Annick:
- clapping!
- waving!
- copying noises
- standing and taking steps
- two more teeth at the top!  Six teeth altogether!
- trying really hard to pull up to standing, sometimes succeeding!
- suddenly very clingy - all about mama and papa (but mostly mama)
- trying very hard to get into a crawl
- has FINALLY slept through the night.  Once.
- all about the mirrors.  And vanity.

Luca:
- copying EVERYTHING
- enthusiastic!
- really quite naughty
- all about mama and papa (but mostly mama)
- still insists on speaking English but will speak French if he feels like it might get him what he wants
- having a good go on a balance bike!

Papa and Luca throw the ol' baseball around at the park.

Hang on a second there - sneeze coming.

Fun in Eltham with Angus and Tom!

William, Angus and Tom pay Annick the attention she knows she truly deserves.

Luca Chan - the next Daniel Craig.  Or Fireman Sam.  One or the other.

While Papa and matante Sabrina enjoy their coffees, Annick plots her next evil scheme.

Check out my sippy cup skills!  She now knows how to tip it up so water actually comes out - hurrah!

And standing like a pro.  Nearly.

Papa and Luca eyebrow time.

Annick et sa belle marraine!

Yay!  Le petit velo!

Why thank you Jemima, this is tremendous tea.

The mirror is the best bit.

MWAH.

Annick's current default position.

Luca at Sandy Point.

Luca is all about the duplo towers these days.  Annick is only slightly impressed.

Check out my hat!  Check out my hat hair!

It might be time for a haircut, that is some immense quiff.

Notre beau garcon.

Notre belle fille.

Annick et Luca a la plage

The age and the clothes were about the same, but a bit of a different experience for Annick's first proper time down at the beach compared to Luca's (which you can relive here!)  Luca had a hot day, warm water, ripples not waves and was well rested coming to Rosebud.  Annick had a warm day, cold water, little waves and was tired and grumpy coming into Mt Eliza, so I guess we should have seen it coming.  So far, she doesn't like the beach!

Luca went right in, even though the water was cold, although the sand proved more interesting in the end.

He and papa started off making les chateaux.

But ended up filling his bucket with interesting rocks!
