Annick - 49 weeks, Luca - nearly 35 months

Both kidlets nearly 1 and 3!  Arg!  And capable of making beautiful pictures for Ah Ma's birthday.

Annick:
- loves going up and down the stairs
- squatting, trying to stand on her own
- pointing like a champion
- gives coco bongs on request
- loves drawing with crayons
- makes all the cat and dog noises in Hairy Maclary while we read
- still the drama queen - throws herself on the floor to show you how upset she is that a) you have put her on the ground, b) Luca looks like he might touch her, c) she is only wearing one sock
- exploring exploring exploring!

Luca:
- talking up a storm
- 'loves' everything:

   - Mama: do you want to watch this DVD?

   - Luca: I LOVE DVDs!

   - Mama (mutters to self): hmm, I hope this is DVD is region 4

   - Luca: I LOVE region 4!

- helps mama around the house - sets the table, loads the washing machine, unpacks the dishwasher (sort of)
- loves songs (last request on the ipod: One More Night by Phil Collins) and singing nursery rhymes (the one that goes 'Everything fell down lady!' we worked out was London Bridge)
- favourite books right now: Stuck by Oliver Jeffers (STILL), Inside Outside Upside Down by the Berenstains, Maisy (also STILL), Hairy Maclary's Caterwaul Caper

Mmmmmmmm... corn.

Annick is 'helping'.

Luca's bedtime buddies - Little Yellow Bear, Bigheaded Rabbit, Jemima and Humpty.

Mama does some sewing - a dress for Ee Hui & Kath's wedding next week and a coat for the winter.

Look at these funny people!  They need to be wearing sequinned baby cheetah t-shirts like all the best people are.
