Annick - 42 weeks, Luca - 33 months

Annick:
- adorably giggly
- bites as a defence mechanism
- really getting around now!  Particularly likes getting into the things she's not supposed to (OF COURSE)
- pulling to standing really well
- STILL eating like a champion

Luca:
- running headlong into the terrible twos
- shrieking!
- loves Annick but is mean to her when she touches 'his' stuff
- not much of an eater these days, but expending lots of energy exploring the world, so getting a bit skinny and losing his toddler fat
- LOVES DUPLO
- is very into princesses at the moment.
- favourite books: 'Les Avions', 'Where's the Bus?', "Monkey Blue, Monkey Red'

They have also moved into their own room together (with Jemima too of course).

They usually play together by Annick finding something fun to do (for example as here, playing in her garden) and Luca interfering, then all hell breaking loose.

Although on occasion they maintain their own little worlds and peace comes to the house.

Otherwise Luca is all about the DUPLO.

Merci Nonna pour le beau train!

Annick has broader horizons.

La petite explorateuse.

The clown pool made a return, although Annick is definitely not sure about the clown.

We went to the museum!  Ooh, mirrors!

Giant echidnas!

Dinosaur lunch boxes!

Mama and Luca also made a cake - the coca cola cake from Nigella Lawson's How to be a Domestic Goddess, mostly because it pretty much just involves stirring.  We don't recommend it for eating purposes however, it was a bit crap.

This is usually how mealtimes look.

This is usually how Annick looks at mealtimes.

RRRRRRRARRRGH!
Although really, she is pretty cheerful.

And she LOVES glasses.  With her genetic background, she'd better.

Finally, here are papa and Annick on the tram.  Sunny!
