A day in the MacDonnell Ranges

The day started auspiciously at Standley Chasm.  What could go wrong?

Les MOUCHES, that's what.

Jason and Melanie resorted to beating each other with their hats trying to get rid of the little bastards.

A lovely tuna salad lunch by Ellery Creek Big Hole with the bloody mouches.

A good way to get rid of the mouches is to go for a swim in a trou d'eau.

And after the swim, stand in the sun like a big lezard to regain the heat.
