Last Nino-less dinner?
Khim makes a delicious dinner for no apparent reason. The usual shenanigans take place:
...large amounts of food are consumed.
...Jason asks for his favourite foods (in this evening's case, stuffed chicken wings) and is obliged.
...there is conspicuous alcohol consumption.
...Khim laughs at Jason's attempts to cut fruit.
...Bendy provides photo opportunities.
But also... brand new event!!!
We video-skype Natacha! Salut Canada!!!

Dollies
A reconnection with friends from England resulted in some adorable old photos. Me and Vanessa, Yarmouth, 1981.
I think that is my dad watching us. I have no idea if I am actually eating a jellied eel, but it's nice to see that I could have been if I had wanted to.
There is also this photo, with me and dolly and I think that is Sarah. The doll seems so big. And I still have her, for Nino...
I don't know where her hat is, I think I still have it somewhere. The brown teddy is a relic from my own days as a mewling infant, and the yellow one is an original Disney Winnie the Pooh. Pim is VERY JEALOUS.

Fete des meres 2010
Mother's day - curry puffs for mummy.
And Rick Stein's Vietnamese orange duck. He said, if you only make one dish from his effervescently cheesy 'Far Eastern Odyssey', then make it this one. So we did.
Miam!
Ninomusic - an archive
New Ninomusic today in the sidebar - who can resist Dalida?? Particularly Comme disait Mistinguett, c'est vrai!! Nino is already well-acquainted with Dalida in utero.
Possibly the last Ninomusic before Nino arrives and maybe is no longer Nino.
And an archive of all the old Ninomusic after the jump...

Nino week 37 - The Lightening
Nino 'dropped' last night, so he is getting ready to come out. Melanie thought it was great that he can no longer kick her in the ribs. It's not so great where he's kicking instead.
But we're about ready - here is Nino's first load of laundry.
And the Ninosocks.
And the Nino-lit.

Kennett River is awesome
A magpie on the deck, cocking its head in confusion - why would we be leaving this idyll??
What would Kennett River be without Dan eating a large number of muffins and informing me that he now consumes three eggs a day.
But with those guns, you can't complain. Although you can mock, like Andy.
The newest member of the Kennett River family entertained us all with his gummy smiles and inappropriate wind. Thanks for coming Chris, hope you enjoyed it! Baby Angus was a welcome new face also.
He was TOTALLY FASCINATED by Mel's bee pyjamas.
And highly entertained by Jason, but who isn't?
Jay gets some practice in.
Because his own little alien is not far away. Although 'little' seems not quite the right word at the moment.
Bedaine-watch, 35 weeks...
